Macron Clarifies Comments on Sending French Soldiers to Ukraine

French President Emmanuel Macron, in an interview with BFMTV, commented on his earlier statements regarding the potential deployment of soldiers to Ukraine, stating that "not ruling something out does not mean doing it." Macron told reporters, "Not excluding something does not mean doing it; you are standing in front of me now, and you are not having lunch at your table, but you do not exclude that at some point you will sit down to have lunch at your table because you need to eat." He also stated during a meeting with opposition leaders yesterday that "there are no limits" and "no red lines" in France's support for Ukraine.
