Death of Poet and Writer Abdulaziz Saud Al-Babtain

Poet and writer Abdulaziz Saud Al-Babtain passed away today, Friday, at the age of 87, after a long journey of national contributions, leaving behind a significant cultural, civilizational, and human legacy. The deceased was the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Abdulaziz Saud Al-Babtain Cultural Foundation and the Chairman of the Board of Members of the Al-Babtain Cultural Foundation in the European Union. He was also a member of many councils, associations, and organizations active in various fields. Al-Babtain held more than 14 honorary doctorates from Arab and foreign universities, awarded by prestigious institutions in recognition of his efforts in cultural endeavors and humanitarian charity work, as well as his activities supporting peace and intercultural dialogue. He received numerous high honors, shields, and awards in appreciation of his efforts in the cultural field at both Arab and international forums.
