A spokesperson for a French region told Reuters that "four migrants who were attempting to cross the English Channel to reach Britain drowned in French waters in the early hours of Sunday." They mentioned that "the small boat capsized while trying to set sail from the shore," adding that "one person in critical condition was transported to a hospital in Boulogne in northern France."
