Earthquake Strikes Southeast of Mosul

The General Authority for Meteorology and Seismology announced today, Friday, the recording of an earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale southeast of Mosul in Nineveh province. According to a statement from the authority, "Our seismological stations recorded the earthquake this evening, located 14 km southeast of the city of Mosul." The statement added that "its magnitude was 3.5, but it was not felt by the citizens."
