Once again, Lebanon sits on the throne of global beauty, confirming its status in beauty contests and the arts that the country has celebrated since the 1970s with the crowning of Georgina Rizk as Miss Universe. Lebanese beauty queen Yasmina Zeitoun has restored glory to her country by being crowned first runner-up in Miss World 2024, after also winning the title of Miss Asia and Oceania in the competition, surpassing her Indian competitor.
Zeitoun appeared at the event held in India in several outfits, including traditional Indian attire to align with the host country. She also answered the unified question in the TOP4 stage in a unique manner. The Miss Lebanon had qualified for the TOP12, then TOP8, and finally reached the TOP4, where she excelled over her competitor from India. The title of Miss World 2024 was awarded to Kristina Piskova from the Czech Republic in the 71st edition of the event.
