Jordan Arrests 4 Israelis Including Soldiers During ATV Trip

The Israeli Channel 14 reported that the Jordanian military "arrested 4 Israelis, including soldiers, after they inadvertently crossed the border, and then released them following intervention from Israeli political authorities." It clarified that "the four Israelis mistakenly entered the Aqaba area during an ATV trip on Thursday and were subsequently arrested. After the intervention of political officials, they were released late at night and returned to Israel." It was mentioned that "thanks to the rapid intervention of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the consul, and Jordan's desire not to escalate the situation, the four young men were released at 1 a.m. after it was confirmed that they had crossed the border by mistake."
