The leaderships of "Hezbollah" and "Amal Movement" affirmed, "for the thousandth time, that the beginning of the exit from the presidential vacuum and the political impasse that Lebanon is grappling with is sincere and in-depth dialogue. This is what the national duo proposed more than a year ago. Any effort that does not contribute to this path is a waste of time and deepens the crisis; it must be abandoned as it exacerbates the negative repercussions of the destructive vacuum on the country." Following a coordination meeting attended by Mustafa Fawani, head of the executive committee of Amal Movement, Ahmad Baalbaki, central preparation official, and from Hezbollah, Hashim Safi al-Din, head of the executive council, and Wafiq Safa, head of the liaison and coordination unit, the two parties warned against the repeated aggressive Israeli practices on the borders and the insistence on "methods to cover up the new aggression, particularly in establishing a new fence to annex the northern part of the Lebanese town of Ghajar."
