Poland Summons Russian Charge d'Affaires After Airspace Breach

The Polish Foreign Ministry stated in a press release that "Polish Deputy Foreign Minister, Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski summoned Russian charge d'affaires, Andrei Ordasz." According to the statement, Ordasz was delivered a note "requesting an explanation" from the Foreign Ministry regarding the violation of Polish airspace, which the ministry attributed to what it referred to as a "missile." Earlier, the Polish military reported that an "unknown object" entered Polish airspace from Ukrainian territory in the early hours of Friday. Polish Chief of General Staff, Wiesław Kukuła, announced on Friday that "all indicators suggest that the airborne object that flew through Polish airspace was a Russian missile."
