Qatar's Emir Arrives in Paris Tomorrow for His First Official Visit in 15 Years

The office of French President Emmanuel Macron announced today, Monday, that "the president will host Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Paris, and they will discuss the current crisis in Gaza." A statement from Macron's office said: "The leaders will once again reaffirm efforts to secure the release of Israeli hostages held by the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and to reach an agreement for a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip." The Emir of Qatar will arrive in Paris for talks tomorrow, Tuesday, in what the French presidency described as his first complete official visit from Qatar in 15 years.
