UAE and France Launch a Bilateral Climate Investment Platform

The UAE and France have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to launch the "UAE-French Bilateral Climate Investment Platform" aimed at encouraging investors from both countries to capitalize on investment opportunities and projects in the clean and renewable energy sectors, as well as the energy transition sector. The new platform also aims to support international efforts to mitigate the impacts of climate change, with a particular focus on reducing carbon emissions from sectors that are difficult to mitigate, according to the Emirates News Agency "WAM."
