The U.S. special envoy to Yemen, Tim Lenderking, stated today, Tuesday, that diplomatic efforts are being made "to try to limit the activities of the Houthis in a way that helps improve the situation in the Red Sea." He noted in recorded statements to the Middle East Institute that "we need to see a serious de-escalation in Gaza," pointing out that "Secretary of State Antony Blinken is working hard on that."
