Former U.S. President Donald Trump revealed new information regarding the killing of Qassem Soleimani, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' Quds Force, stating that Israel was part of the plans to assassinate Soleimani but withdrew shortly before the attack was executed. Trump said in an interview on "Fox News": "When we killed Soleimani, you know Israel was supposed to do it with us. But two days before the operation, Benjamin Netanyahu said we can't do it. 'We can't do that.'" Trump concluded: "I had a certain general, and he was great, I asked him: Can we do this ourselves? He said: 'We can, sir, it's up to you.' I said: 'We will do it.'"
