The Shepherd Participated in an Hour of Prostration and Prayer for Lebanon in Sydney

Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai participated in an hour of prostration and prayer for the intention of Lebanon at the Lady of Lebanon Cathedral in Harris Park, Sydney. He was joined by the Maronite archbishop, Bishop Antoine Charbel Torbay, bishops in the diaspora, several general superiors and superiresses, as well as fathers, priests, and nuns. The hour of prostration was a special event that highlighted what Christian faith represents and the importance of Christian unity. Bishop Torbay noted, "We pray for our youth; they are the joy of our church and its beating heart, so that their journey may always be crowned with faith, hope, love, and a testimony of good life."
