Hamas Announces Submission of a Comprehensive Ceasefire Agreement to Mediators

Hamas announced on Thursday evening that it has submitted a comprehensive proposal for a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip to mediators in Egypt and Qatar. In a statement, Hamas said: "In the context of Hamas's follow-up to the negotiations through our mediators in Egypt and Qatar, to halt the aggression against our people in Gaza, provide relief and assistance, allow the return of the displaced to their homes, and withdraw the occupation forces from the Strip, the movement has presented today to our mediators a comprehensive vision based on these principles and foundations that it considers essential for the agreement." It added: "The proposal also includes the movement's vision regarding the prisoner exchange issue, and the movement will continue to advocate for the rights and concerns of our people."
