Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian announced today, Wednesday, that Tehran has provided intelligence information to Iraq regarding the activities of the Israeli intelligence agency (Mossad) in the semi-autonomous Kurdistan region of Iraq. Iran stated that the Revolutionary Guard carried out an attack on an "Israeli espionage base" in the city of Erbil, Iraq, on Monday. Iraq later denied the existence of any such espionage center in the country.
