Hezbollah issued a statement mourning one of its members, Ahmad Ali Hamad, known as "Yaqoub," born in 1992 in the town of Tora, South Lebanon, who was killed in clashes with the Israeli army in Southern Lebanon. The statement read: "With great pride and honor, the Islamic Resistance announces the martyrdom of the fighter Ahmad Ali Hamad (Yaqoub), born in 1992 from the town of Tora in South Lebanon, who ascended as a martyr on the path to Jerusalem."
