Egyptian Voters Gather in Australia for Presidential Election Voting on the Second Day

The voting process for Egyptians residing in Australia for the 2024 Egyptian presidential elections began its second day at 9 AM Australian time. The Egyptian Embassy in Sydney started receiving members of the Egyptian community to cast their votes. Voters are flocking to the embassy to participate in this presidential election. The electoral process is taking place outside Egypt in 137 embassies and consulates across 121 countries worldwide, as per the decision of the Board of Directors of the National Elections Authority No. (27) of 2023, which specifies their locations and addresses. The National Elections Authority confirmed that any Egyptian registered in the voter database who is outside the country during the three designated election days, whether residing or traveling for a short period, has the right to vote using their national ID card or a valid passport containing their national number.
