On the night of Monday to Tuesday, a family dispute in Hermel escalated into a murder, where an individual shot at his uncle's house, the family of his wife, killing his mother-in-law and her son. A large force from the Lebanese army immediately arrived at the scene and worked to contain the aftermath of the altercation.
