Confidential reports from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) revealed on Monday that Iran's stockpile of uranium enriched to 60 percent has slightly decreased. The reports indicated that some issues have lessened, but long-standing concerns between Iran and UN inspectors have worsened. One of the agency's quarterly reports, which Reuters has reviewed, showed that Iran reduced 31.8 kilograms of its production of uranium enriched to 60 percent, resulting in the production of 97.9 kilograms of uranium enriched to 20 percent. Estimates suggest that the total stockpile of uranium enriched to 60 percent, which is close to the 90 percent needed to make weapons, has decreased by 6.8 kilograms to 121.5 kilograms during this quarter.
