Judge Aoun: The Funds of Deposit Holders and Their Right to Treatment are a Priority

The Public Prosecutor in Mount Lebanon, Judge Ghada Aoun, asked a question on her "X" platform account to every official who holds depositors' money, stating: "The greatest shame for any state is for its citizens to die or suffer from illness due to lack of financial means for treatment. Tell Dr. Salem." She added: "In the matter of recovering Lebanese people's money from banks, the primary concern should be the right to treatment. Is each of us doing what our conscience dictates for this goal? This question should be directed to every judge, every deputy, every minister, every official, and every bank owner who holds depositors' funds."
