The meeting discussed the developments in the internal situation and the latest updates on the investigation into the Beirut port explosion, as well as ongoing discussions about decentralization, federalism, and the upcoming municipal elections. Jumblatt emphasized his commitment to speeding up the election of a new president and forming a new government to begin addressing the current cycle of crises. He also supported holding the municipal elections on schedule, warning about the consequences of continued financial deterioration on social stability.
