Foreign Minister Abdullah Bou Habib stated after his meeting with Qatari Ambassador Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani at the Foreign Affairs Ministry: "We welcome Qatar's constructive role in assisting Lebanon politically, militarily, and economically. We hope that Qatar, in collaboration with all our brothers, will be able to stop the escalation and conflict occurring in our region, especially to halt the war in Gaza and restore calm to Southern Lebanon."
