American-British Airstrike on Ras Issa Area in Al Hudaydah

Yemeni media reported today, Saturday, about an "American-British attack targeting the Ras Issa area in the As Salif District of Al Hudaydah in western Yemen." The U.S. Central Command stated in a statement today that "four anti-ship ballistic missiles were launched from areas controlled by the Houthis toward the Red Sea yesterday, Friday." It added that there have been no reports of casualties or damages to the British tanker Pollux or any other vessel in the area. The U.S. Central Command explained: "We successfully carried out two defensive strikes in Yemen."

On February 16, from 1:15 PM (Sanaa time) until 1:00 AM on February 17, four anti-ship ballistic missiles were launched from Houthi-controlled regions in Yemen, supported by Iran, toward the Red Sea. This airstrike comes hours after the Houthi group claimed responsibility for an attack on Saturday morning that targeted a British oil tanker in the Red Sea, which had been reported by security agencies and the U.S. State Department the previous day.

A few days ago, an "American-British attack conducted two airstrikes in the southern part of the Al Jah area in the Beit Al-Faqih District, south of Al Hudaydah Governorate in western Yemen."
