Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein confirmed today, Monday, the government's commitment to knowing the fate of the Kuwaiti citizen who was attacked in Anbar. The Foreign Ministry indicated that "Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein received today a phone call from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the sisterly State of Kuwait, Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah."
The statement added: "During the call, the circumstances of the attack on the Kuwaiti citizen in Anbar province were discussed, and Hussein affirmed the Iraqi government's determination to ascertain the fate of the Kuwaiti citizen," noting that "the Iraqi security authorities are closely following the matter to uncover the details of the case."
The Kuwaiti Foreign Minister expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the efforts made by the Iraqi authorities to determine the fate of the Kuwaiti citizen and ensure his safety.
