Sources in Hasbaya reported that "a team of UN observers (UNDOF) is currently inspecting the Blue Line in the eastern sector of southern Lebanon, starting from the Adaisseh axis and extending to the heights of Mount Sheikh, passing through Wazzani, Abbasieh, the Bastra hills, and the Rweisat Al-Alam in the Kfarshouba hills." It was noted that "these officers are using a UNIFIL helicopter and have conducted several reconnaissance flights at low altitude above the withdrawal line in the Kfarshouba heights, specifically over the Al-Hassan Gate area overlooking the Bakhitail Reservoir."
The sources stated that "the visit of the international delegation to the area comes amid the ongoing state of general alert declared by the Israeli forces along their northern borders with Lebanon for the second consecutive week. Israeli patrols and earth-moving operations have been absent in that area so far, while there have been recorded armored movements in the forward positions overlooking the liberated areas, as well as within the occupied areas in the Shebaa Farms and the occupied Golan Heights, occasionally accompanied by the flight of Israeli helicopters in the region's skies."
