New Moves for a Humanitarian Prisoner Exchange Deal

Hebrew media reported today, Monday, that conditions have matured for a return to agreements regarding a new prisoner exchange deal. Earlier, the Deputy Head of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, Saleh Al-Arouri, confirmed that there would be no exchange until the end of the aggression and a comprehensive ceasefire is established. Al-Arouri noted that elderly men among the captives served in the army, and some are still part of it. He highlighted that the official stance of the movement now is that no prisoner exchanges will occur before the end of the war. He emphasized that "no captive held by the resistance will be freed until all our prisoners are released and a ceasefire is in place." He assured that the resistance is prepared for all "Israeli" military scenarios, be it ground or air operations, among others. He pointed out that "the remaining captives in Gaza are soldiers and civilian men who served in the occupation army."
