Al-Hilal secured a spot in the semi-finals of the King Salman Club Cup after defeating Al-Ittihad 3-1 in the "Saudi Clasico" on Saturday. The goals for Al-Hilal, "The Leader," were scored by Serbian player Sergei Milinković-Savić, Saudi player Salem Al-Dawsari, and Brazilian player Malcolm, in the 14th, 48th (penalty), and 70th minutes, respectively.
On the other hand, Brazilian forward Romarinho scored for Al-Ittihad in the 56th minute, while his teammate, French forward Karim Benzema, missed a penalty in the 78th minute, wasting an opportunity to bring the team back into the match, which took place at Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Sports City Stadium in Abha, Saudi Arabia.
Al-Hilal will now advance to the "Final Four" of the 2023 King Salman Club Cup, awaiting the winner of the match between Saudi teams Al-Shabab and UAE's Al-Wahda, which will take place tomorrow evening at King Fahd Sports City Stadium in Taif.
