British Foreign Secretary David Cameron expressed his opposition to sending Western troops to Ukraine, even for training purposes, amid increasing discussions about such a move recently. In an interview with the German newspaper "Süddeutsche Zeitung," Cameron stated, "Training missions are carried out better outside the country" in response to a question about whether excluding the deployment of Western soldiers to Ukraine is the right move under the current circumstances. He added, "In the United Kingdom, we have trained 60,000 Ukrainian soldiers." He continued, "We must avoid providing clear targets for Russian President Vladimir Putin."
