Title: Syrian Individual Arrested for Harassing Minor

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces reported that "while a group of boys were practicing football inside a field in the town of Barja, a man identified as (A. K., born in 1980, Syrian) harassed a minor." Shortly thereafter, on 26-9-2023, (A. K.) encountered the boy while he was out running errands for his home. He approached him and invited him to have a cup of Nescafé at his house, which made the boy suspicious, prompting him to inform his parents about the incident. Consequently, the suspect was taken to the Barja precinct within the Regional Gendarmerie Unit, where he confessed to the allegations during questioning. The detained individual was handed over to the Anti-Human Trafficking and Morals Protection Office within the Judicial Police Unit for further investigation, based on the directives of the relevant judiciary.
