G7 Leaders Commit to Supporting Ukraine "No Matter What It Takes"

G7 leaders pledged on Saturday to support Ukraine in its war against Russia for as long as necessary, stating that they would seek ways to make Moscow pay for the damage caused by its invasion of Ukraine. The group announced in a statement: "As Ukraine enters the third year of this devastating war, its government and people can count on the support of the G7 no matter what it takes." The G7 leaders held a video conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the second anniversary of the Russian invasion, which has claimed tens of thousands of lives, devastated vast areas of land, and severely harmed the economy.
