Thomas White, the director of UNRWA affairs in the Gaza Strip, stated today, Wednesday, that "nine Palestinians were killed and 75 others injured in an Israeli attack on a training center in Khan Younis designated for shelter." He added, "Two tank shells struck a building sheltering around 800 individuals in the southern Gaza Strip."
White mentioned, "A UNRWA training center sheltering tens of thousands of displaced persons was shelled, leading to fires in the buildings and a significant number of casualties and injuries." He continued, "Safe access to and from the center has been difficult for the past two days; people are trapped."
