Al-Qassam Brigades announced today, Monday, that they have taken control of an Israeli drone in the Beit Hanoun area in northern Gaza, which was on an intelligence mission. The Al-Qassam statement said, "Al-Qassam Brigades have taken control of an Israeli drone that was on an intelligence mission for the enemy in Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza." This comes as the Israeli army stated it is continuing its operations in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City, in the northern sector. The Israeli army's statement noted that "its forces targeted objectives in Abu al-Ata area in Shuja'iyya during the ground operations in northern Gaza." It pointed out that these objectives were a complex used for military operations by Hamas and Islamic Jihad. The forces also carried out a raid targeting the command and control center for Hamas and Islamic Jihad, discovering large quantities of weapons in the vicinity of one of the mosques.
