Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp praised the abilities of his star Egyptian player Mohamed Salah, on the eve of the much-anticipated match against host Manchester City in the top clash of the 13th round of the English Premier League. Klopp said during the press conference for the Liverpool vs Manchester City match tomorrow, Saturday, at the "Etihad" stadium: "Mohamed Salah is very good with his teammates and in attack as well. He is an exceptional player and I hope he continues. He can improve and we expect that from him, otherwise, why is he the first to arrive at the training ground and the last to leave if not for his desire to constantly improve? He has gained the experience that allows him to understand football better; he is a different player from the boy who arrived back then, and yet he was good even at that time."
Regarding the partnership between Mohamed Salah and his Uruguayan teammate Darwin Núñez, Klopp commented: "You cannot be a Liverpool player if you are not intelligent in football. Mohamed and Núñez take care of each other, but not to the exclusion of the others; they simply have a different style together." He continued: "He supports the players in the team; Darwin came here with great expectations and ambitions, and Salah understood the situation better than the others at that time, saw the potential he had, and wanted to help him. Without much talk, they started a very special partnership."
Manchester City leads the English Premier League "Premier League" standings with 28 points, one point ahead of Liverpool and Arsenal, who occupy the second and third positions, respectively.
