Tight Security Measures: Requests from a Bank to Branch Managers

One bank has issued a notice to branch managers stating the following:

Due to recent developments, we present the following new preliminary measures that must be taken in your branches when receiving customers starting from tomorrow, Thursday, September 15, 2022. We will inform you later about additional measures that will ensure maximum protection for you.

- The guard positions himself outside the glass door of the branch.

- The glass door should be closed, and a second guard stands inside if two guards are present, or the messenger at your branch if there is no second guard.

- The guard must inspect each customer before signaling the messenger to open the branch door for entry.

- Each customer is to be entered individually.

- A maximum of five clients inside the branch at any time.

- Each customer must be searched before entering (either manually or with a metal detector if available).

- Women's bags should be inspected upon their entry to the branch.

- Customers are prohibited from bringing any weapons or flammable materials (such as petroleum products) into the branch.

- It is imperative to remind branch employees to press the alarm button in case of theft.

- Do not confront or resist any armed individuals.

- Contact the administration directorate and report any issues at the following numbers: 1148, 1134, and notify emergency services at 112.
