## Jihad Movement Official in Lebanon: Israel Received a Surprise Blow

Sheikh Ali Abu Shahin, a member of the political bureau of the "Islamic Jihad" movement in Palestine and responsible for the Lebanese arena, confirmed that "the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle is one of the most significant battles that the Palestinian resistance has fought against the Zionist enemy since the Nakba of 1948." During a dialogue meeting organized by the "Islamic Jihad" movement in the Ain al-Hilweh camp, he highlighted "the responsibility of the West and the American administration in adopting the Zionist aggression and blindly siding with the Zionist narrative, providing absolute and unlimited support on all levels," recalling "some of the reasons for the military escalation in the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle and its political outcomes."

Ali Abu Shahin noted that "Israel has received a surprise blow that it did not expect, which has confused its calculations and placed it in an existential predicament, driving it to commit massacres and target Palestinian civilians, hospitals, and gatherings of displaced people in the besieged Gaza Strip." He added: "The resilience of the Palestinian resistance and the Palestinian people in the face of the destruction machine, along with the losses sustained by the entity and the utter failure it experienced, along with the fear that has gripped its leadership, forced it to comply with the truce for exchange and reassess its calculations."

Ali Abu Shahin stated that "this battle is not the end of the confrontations with this enemy, but it is part of the political, economic, security, and military collapse of it, and it has established an important phase in the cracking of the foundations of this vanishing entity."
