Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky pledged that his country would not use weapons received from Western allies against targets in "foreign territories." Zelensky stated in a press conference in Kyiv yesterday that "Ukraine does not have the capability, nor the right, and will never use the weapons of its partners in areas other than temporarily occupied Ukrainian territory." Earlier, a source familiar with the matter revealed to TASS that Western countries are demanding from Ukraine a list of targets in Russian territory to ensure the effectiveness of the weapons supplied to Kyiv. It is noteworthy that NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, commenting on the issue of transferring F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, said that Ukrainian forces would have the "right" to use those jets to strike "Russian military targets outside of Ukraine."
