The Governor of Sevastopol in Crimea, Mikhail Razvozhaev, indicated that "the Russian fleet in the Black Sea repelled an attack by two naval drones on the port of Sevastopol in the early hours of this Monday." He noted that "according to the latest information, one of the drones was destroyed, and the other exploded on its own," confirming that "the city is calm now, and no damage has been reported."
In a statement, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that "around 3:30 AM (0030 GMT), the Kyiv regime attempted to attack the Black Sea Fleet base in Sevastopol with three very fast naval drones." It added that Russia destroyed all three drones without suffering any human or material losses in the operation. The Interfax news agency reported, citing transport authorities in Sevastopol, that "passenger ferry services in the city overlooking the Black Sea were suspended." No reason was given, but the agency noted, "Traffic has been suspended in the past due to similar attacks or because of storms."
