The digital civil society specialized in the technology and telecommunications sector in Lebanon mourned businessman Mohamed Baqar Diab, who was killed due to an Israeli airstrike on his vehicle in Bazouria. Diab held the position of General Manager of Tecomsa and was the head of the MD holding company. He was a member of the Digital Transformation and Governance Network in Lebanon (DTGN), a board member of the Professional Computer Association (PCA), and a member of the Lebanon Information and Communications Union (ALMA). He was also a general member of the Arab Internet and Communications Union (ARISPA), a supporter of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Lebanon and globally through the World Summit Awards associated with the United Nations. He participated in Lebanese technological missions and delegations to global forums, conferences, and exhibitions.
