The Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a statement the imposition of "sanctions on six individuals and entities in response to the ongoing conflict in Sudan." It was noted that "the sanctions target individuals and entities linked to the Sudanese Armed Forces or the Rapid Support Forces."
