French Warship Provides Medical Care to Injured People from Gaza

Captain of a French warship, Alexandre Bloin, revealed that "about a thousand people from the Gaza Strip are receiving treatment at a field hospital aboard the ship anchored off the coast of Egypt, providing care for some amidst the collapse of the health infrastructure in the war-torn region." He explained that "approximately 120 injured individuals have been transferred to the hospital established on the ship, while hundreds of others have received consultations in outpatient clinics, including follow-up on injuries and psychological issues." He described this operation as "an unprecedented mission." The French helicopter carrier "Dixmude" has been docked at the port of El Arish in Egypt, 50 kilometers west of the Gaza Strip, since November and is equipped with wings, operating rooms, and a medical crew of 70.
