Death of

The Egyptian, Habiba El-Shamaa, known as "The Girl from Al-Shorouk," has passed away after being in a coma for 22 days in a hospital in Cairo. Her family announced on Thursday that her health had suddenly deteriorated, and she died hours later after the doctors' attempts to save her were unsuccessful. Habiba, 24 years old, was involved in a controversial incident on February 21, when she took an Uber from the city of Al-Shorouk to the Fifth Settlement area. She felt the driver was attempting to harass her and sprayed a substance that scared her, prompting her to jump from the car while it was moving at 100 kilometers per hour. "The Girl from Al-Shorouk" told a witness that she jumped out of the car to escape the driver's harassment, after which she fell into a coma that lasted until her death.
