Kremlin: Macron Takes the Most Extreme Position Among European Leaders on Ukraine

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted on Thursday that French President Emmanuel Macron takes the most extreme stance among all European leaders regarding Ukraine. The Kremlin spokesman emphasized that the prevailing approach in Europe now is to push Ukraine to fight to the last Ukrainian. Meanwhile, the Russian Foreign Ministry stated that NATO's activity in Eastern Europe and the Black Sea region "aims at preparing allies for a potential confrontation with Russia." The Russian Foreign Ministry considered that "such activities by NATO members are purely provocative, increasing military tension along our borders and creating additional threats to Russia's security." They added that "all this activity is aimed at preparing the alliance's allies for a possible confrontation with our country."
