Death of a Deputy in a Horrific Car Accident

In the Minya Governorate, Upper Egypt, a tragic accident occurred on the desert road, resulting in the death of Deputy Amena Mahmoud Ragi, a member of the House of Representatives from Minya and a member of the health committee. The incident began when the security authorities in the Minya Security Directorate received a notification from the operations room about a collision between two vehicles on the eastern desert road in the governorate. Police and ambulance crews immediately rushed to the scene of the accident, where it was confirmed that Deputy Amena Mahmoud Ragi, aged 64, had died, and five others were injured. The injured were transported to the hospital, while the body was taken to the morgue for examination by the forensic doctor. Preliminary investigations by the police and criminal investigation team revealed that the cause of the accident was reckless driving at high speeds, and the vehicles were seized for the investigation authorities.
