U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken discussed over the phone with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba the need to reform anti-corruption efforts in Ukraine. The head of the press office at the State Department, Matthew Miller, stated: "The two foreign ministers raised the issue of enhancing anti-corruption efforts in Ukraine as a necessity for Ukraine to make progress on its Euro-Atlantic integration path. Blinken and Kuleba also discussed the conflict in Ukraine and providing military assistance to Kyiv." Earlier, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported that "Kuleba asked Blinken during their phone conversation to maintain U.S. military support for Kyiv, including the supply of air defense systems and artillery ammunition."
