The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Abul Gheit, emphasized "the importance of mobilizing developmental, social, economic, and humanitarian efforts to support the Gaza Strip and intensify work to stop the aggression," according to "Wafa."
In his speech at the Arab Forum for Multidimensional Social Development held in the Qatari capital, Doha, organized jointly by the Arab League and the Ministry of Social Affairs in Qatar, he stated, "This forum represents a commitment to work towards restoring the fabric of Palestinian society that embodies the values of resilience and attachment to the land."
The forum addresses the repercussions of the Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip from a social perspective and multidimensional social development. Abul Gheit pointed to "the unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe being witnessed in the Arab region as a result of the horrific Israeli crimes in the Gaza Strip which violate all international norms, laws, and humanitarian principles and values," calling for "immediate action to stop these massacres."
