Blinken: We are Carefully Reviewing Israel's Investigation into the Attack on Relief Workers

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken confirmed on Friday that "the United States is carefully reviewing the Israeli investigation into the airstrike that resulted in the deaths of seven relief workers from the World Central Kitchen organization this week." He added that "Washington will look very closely at the steps Israel will take." Blinken stated in comments to reporters in Brussels: "It is very important for Israel to take full responsibility for this incident, and it is also important to show that steps are being taken to hold those responsible accountable. Most importantly, steps must be taken from now on to ensure that something like this never happens again."
