Finding Five More Bodies Days After Russian Attack on Kyiv

The authorities in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, stated on Monday that five more bodies were found under the rubble following the intense Russian airstrikes on the city three days ago, raising the death toll to 28. Ukraine had previously announced that Monday would be a day of mourning for the victims of the missile attacks that took place on Friday, which was the deadliest attack on the Ukrainian capital during the war, approaching its second year. Serhiy Popko, head of the military administration in Kyiv, wrote on the Telegram app, "Sincere condolences to all who have lost relatives and loved ones. Terrorists who kill civilians and spill blood on Ukrainian soil will never be forgiven."
