Fatah: Hamas Leadership Statements Are Contradictory

The spokesperson for the Fatah movement, Hussein Hameil, stated that "the new government has not been formed yet, nor has its head been appointed." Hameil confirmed to "Al Arabiya - Al Hadath" that "the formation of the new government is not a response to American demands," explaining that "consultations are still ongoing regarding the name of the prime minister, and an announcement will be made upon the conclusion of these consultations." He emphasized that "Hamas should not be an obstacle to the reconstruction of Gaza," considering that "Hamas leaders issue contradictory statements and announcements." He noted that "Hamas issues the same statements before the success of any dialogue to disrupt the solution," pointing out that "the statements of Hamas leaders do not serve the people of the Gaza Strip."
