The Ukrainian army announced today, Sunday, that "Russia launched drone attacks overnight on the capital Kyiv and the south of the country, resulting in at least one civilian injury and damage to a gas pipeline and residential buildings in the coastal Mykolaiv region." The Ukrainian Air Force indicated that "its systems destroyed 40 out of 45 Shahed drones launched by Russia overnight." The southern military command of Ukraine noted that "its air defense systems repelled the attacks for over five hours and destroyed 26 Shahed drones launched by Russia over several southern regions, particularly over the Mykolaiv area near the Black Sea."
