Hezbollah Condemns the Assassination of Abu Baqar Al-Saadi and Others: A Flagrant American Violation of Iraq's Sovereignty

Hezbollah, in a statement, strongly condemned the assassination of commander Haj Wisam Mohammed Saber (Abu Baqar Al-Saadi) and a group of his martyr brothers at the hands of American occupying forces in Iraq. It considered this act a continuation of their previous crimes and ongoing aggression against our nations in Iraq, Syria, and Yemen, as well as a blatant violation of Iraq's sovereignty, security, and stability.

The statement continued: "The resistance movements in the region have complete confidence in the fighters from our steadfast Iraqi people, who are determined to adhere to the path of resistance and liberation, and to continue supporting the oppressed Palestinian people. This heinous assassination will only increase their resolve to continue on this path."

It concluded: "We extend our sincerest condolences to our brothers in the Hezbollah Brigades in Iraq and to the families of the martyrs, and we ask God to grant the esteemed martyrs high ranks, and patience, reckoning, and divine dignity to their honorable families."
